PREPARING FOR THE STORM:
Lower shutters and & secure them tightly to the wall.
Store all outdoor furniture and any other loose objects (grills, garbage cans, potted plants} inside the unit.
Put propane gas tanks into garbage cylinders in front of units.
Tie up any loose clippings or trimmed branches.
DO NOT PLACE ANY ITEMS AT THE CURB OR ON THE STREET
PLAN & PREPARE IN ADVANCE!
Special Medical Needs
Shelter: Must register in advance at 561-712-6400.
Pet-friendly shelter: W. Boynton Rec Center 6000 Northtree Blvd.
Pre-register 561-233-1200.
If you need special assistance such as oxygen:
Call the Palm Beach County Special Needs Coordinator at 561-712-8400.
If evacuating, Florida 511 provides real-time updates on traffic conditions on all major roads & highways.
OTHER TIPS: Get cash, Fill the gas tank, Re-fill medications, Take pictures of belongings inside your home as well as the outside of your unit
After the Storm
Follow directives of Board members.
Check for any damage to your unit or the grounds.
Report any injuries to a Board member. Help neighbors with cleanup.
